  4. Install new mortar & new lead flashing
  5. Install new roofing to replace what was removed during the process.
  6. Dispose of all material waste

Repointing Option

  1. Remove existing roofing surrounding the chimney
  2. Grind out old lead & mortar from the entire chimney.
  3. Install ice & water shield as a secondary layer of water protection on roof deck & up the top, bottom & sides of the chimney
  4. Install new mortar on all the old mortar joints on the entire chimney & new lead flashing
  5. Install new roofing to replace what was removed during the process.
  6. Dispose of all material waste.

Rebuilding Option

  1. Remove existing roofing surrounding the chimney
  2. Tear down bricks from the top of the chimney, working the way down to just below the roof deck to rebuild new bricks on top of solid brick that has not been exposed to the elements . and transport old bricks off of the roof safely.
  3. Build new chimney with new brick, bricks and new mortar.
  4. Install ice & water shield as a secondary layer of water protection on roof deck & up the top, bottom & sides of the chimney
  5. Install new mortar & new lead flashing
  6. Install new roofing to replace what was removed during the process.
  7. Dispose of all material waste
